Ambassadors

Mission Statement

To inspire and empower K-12 students from underrepresented groups to explore STEM careers by providing them with classroom and lab engagement opportunities with the Initiative for Maximizing Student Diversity (IMSD) Program and NC State University partners.

To broaden the perception of who scientists are and what scientists look like by creating and fostering community engagement at the local, state, and international level that connects scientists to the community.
