Dr. Mike Carter Recognized by Provost’s Office

Dr. Mike Carter, associate dean for program evaluation at the Graduate School, was recently recognized by the Office of the Provost as a University Award of Excellence nominee. He was nominated under the category of “Efficiency and Innovative Service.”

Among his accomplishments, it was noted that Carter  oversees the annual assessment of graduate programs as well as their seven-year external review. Carter’s “collaborative nature and willingness to assist those developing, as well as completing, assessments has resulted in an approach that directly benefits the individual programs as well as the institution.”

Congratulations to Mike Carter on being nominated for this prestigious university award!
