NC State Celebrates Graduate Education Week March 21-24
The Graduate Student Research Symposium and a meet-and-greet with Graduate School leaders are among the highlights of NC State’s Graduate Education Week, March 21-24. The Graduate School will host a number of special events open to campus and to the public.
The Graduate Student Research Symposium on March 23 will feature research posters from more than 200 NC State graduate students. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at McKimmon Center, 1:30-4 p.m. Awards will be presented for top student posters in different disciplines.
Alumni and friends: Let us know you are coming by registering online to attend the symposium.
On March 21, Dean Maureen Grasso and Graduate School leaders will welcome the campus community at a meet-and-greet event, 3-5 p.m., Hunt Library Teaching and Visualization Lab (4th floor). A multi-media presentation will feature highlights of the past year in graduate education.

Tuesday, March 22
Excellence in Graduate Teaching Awards, given by the Teaching Effectiveness Committee, NC State Graduate Student Association

Opening remarks, Dr. Maureen Grasso, dean of the Graduate School, and special address, Dr. David Hinks, dean of the College of Textiles
