The research of ten NC State graduate students takes center stage on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Hunt Library’s Duke Energy Hall as they compete in the 8th Annual Three Minute Thesis competition hosted by the Graduate School.

The Importance of Communicating Clearly and Succinctly: The Three Minute Thesis

In the Three Minute Thesis competition, graduate students are judged on their ability to effectively communicate their thesis/dissertation work in under three minutes using a single, non-animated slide. We got tips on a winning presentation from Ciera Cipriani, MS, who won first place at NC State’s 2018 3MT.

10 Finalists Will Compete in 3 Minute Thesis, Oct. 28

On Oct. 28, 10 finalists in The Graduate School’s inaugural 3 Minute Thesis® competition will have just three minutes and one slide with which to explain their dissertation research.
