Slate Admissions
Slate is the application system used by the Graduate School to facilitate graduate admissions. It is designed to simplify the admissions process for both students and departments. The Graduate School’s Slate website provides an overview of Slate’s primary functions and in-depth instructions to help you navigate its interface. Training is required before logging into Slate. For more information, contact Lauren Liston.
Student Information System (SIS)
In MyPack Portal, the Student Information System (SIS) is used to manage all student academic information. To learn more about SIS and its variety of useful tools, follow the link below. Training can be requested through your Graduate School College Liaison.
Graduate School Forms
Your department’s official communication with the Graduate School relies on the exchange of forms. If the Graduate School requests a form — Course Action Requests, Exam Forms, Parental Leave Requests, and Department Fellowship Requests — you can find it on the Graduate School Forms page.
NextGen Graduate Appointment System
The NextGen Graduate Appointment System manages the hiring process for student Graduate Assistantships. The system can be adapted to the needs of each college and department, and it is completely paperless; the student and supervisor electronically sign the Terms and Conditions contract in the system. NextGen can be found on the MyPack Portal’s HR System page. See the below link to learn more and find the NextGen user manual.
