Internship Module

As graduate students at NC State, you are already confronting global challenges alongside world-leading researchers and powerful partners. A great way to expand your career preparedness and portfolio is through internships. An internship allows you to gain first-hand, real-world experience that capitalizes on your graduate student experience and the career-ready skills that you have been developing throughout your career.

In this module, you will have access to multiple resources that can help you explore and prepare for internship opportunities. Specifically, we offer an internship preparedness series to assist our graduate students in their pursuit and successful completion of an internship.

Micro-Internships (Graduate Students & Postdoctoral Scholars)

Micro-internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that allow you to explore career paths, build your network, and prepare for the transition to industry. These micro-internships allow you to be flexible with your graduate studies, while still being intentional in your career development. Please confirm with your advisor and/or funding agency that you are allowed to take on this extra-paid opportunity.
