Accelerate to Industry^TM is a professional program founded by the NC State Graduate School and offered at (fill in your university name) that represents the interests of more than 10,000 graduate students and postdoctoral associates.

A2i offers you opportunities to collaborate with (fill in your university name) to shape the future of holistic and integrated workforce readiness at your company. Through A2i, you can recruit and directly impact the training of graduate and postdoctoral researchers. Our industry members help us prepare trainees in the following areas

What are the A2i Modules

Industry Insights (INS) is a series of talks led by Industry Partners that focus on key competency areas important to industry.

Job Search Strategies (JSS) is a series of workshops focused on the key elements of a job search to boost career readiness and a successful launch into industry. Topic could include:

How to set a strategy
How to tailor the application
Interview preparation
Managing the job offer and salary negotiation

Company Site Visit (CV) is a visit to an Industry Partner to learn more about their company, workplace culture, and facilities. Network with current employees and leaders of the company.

Internship (INT) are opportunities focused on hands-on experience through micro-internship opportunities offered by our partner Parker-Dewey or view internships posted by Industry Partners.

Team Practicum (TP) is an interdisciplinary team project that connects trainees with peers and industry partners.

Immersion Week (IW) is an immersive program for late-stage graduate students and postdoctoral scholars focused on transitioning into a career in industry.
