Public History

The Public History M.A. program includes 36 credit hours of course work with half the hours in historical studies and the rest in applied history classes, including an internship and innovative courses in museum studies and heritage studies. The Public History Ph.D. program includes 72 credit hours with 24 credit hours in a public history field, including an internship, 21 credit hours in a history field, 9 credit hours in an outside field, and 18 credit hours of dissertation work.
