Wilkinson Graduate Fellowship
Program Summary
The Wilkinson Graduate Fellowship is a prestigious one-year award offered to top new or continuing graduate students at NC State University in any discipline. The Fellowship is funded through an endowment given to the University by Walter H. Wilkinson, Jr.
Eligibility and Selection
This fellowship is available to all new or continuing full-time master’s or doctoral students in any field of study. Students may not apply directly for this fellowship. Instead, they must be nominated by their respective Associate Dean with responsibilities for Graduate Programs.
Selections are made by the Graduate School based on the materials submitted by the Associate Dean, as well as letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, and other items available in the nominee’s graduate school application.
Stipend and Fellowship Tenure
The Wilkinson Fellowship provides an annual stipend of $6,000 for a period of one year. Tuition, fees and health insurance are not covered.
