Census Date/Official Enrollment Date: Last day to add a course with permission of instructor. Last day for tuition refunds due to dropping a course or changing from credit to audit.

NC State is providing a two-day class break for students on Monday, Aug. 31, and Tuesday, Sept. 1, to allow on-campus students time to prepare to move following Wednesday’s announcement about reducing campus housing. University offices will remain open.

Drop/Revision Deadline: MyPack Portal closes for student-initiated schedule revisions at 11:59 p.m. All schedule revisions made after this date will require a Schedule Revision form for processing. Last day to change to credit only. Last day to withdraw or drop a course, without a W grade.

Enrollment windows are assigned based on the number of hours a student has completed. This permits more senior students to enroll earlier, with the first enrollment window opening Oct 16th. Closer to the registration date, students can view their assignment on their Planning & Enrollment tile in the MyPack Portal.

Date by which all graduate students must apply to graduate in a given semester. A student must apply to graduate in order to participate in the graduation exercises, have their transcript posted, and receive a diploma.
